Matrixport has repeated its audacious Bitcoin projection after initially establishing its 2023 year-end BTC price target at $45,000 in early 2023.

In early 2023, Matrixport issued a daring price projection for Bitcoin by year's end of $45,000. On October 24, the company repeated that prediction in a blog post.

The blog article, titled "Bitcoin Targets $45,000 — FOMO Is Hitting the Market," offers a succinct review of Matrixport's prior market projections and notes that the company was successful in predicting a number of market occurrences.

In particular, Matrixport referenced its September 2023 research, "October Ignites a Bitcoin Boom: Institutions Fueling the Price Surge," which has so far been successful in projecting noteworthy developments on the Bitcoin market for October.

The company forecast that October would see robust Bitcoin prices because of the anticipation surrounding the possible approval of a spot BTC exchange-traded fund (ETF)The company also mentioned that, historically, October has had average returns of 20%, making it the best month for Bitcoin.

After hovering around $27,000 at the beginning of October, Bitcoin briefly reached $35,000 on October 24, reaching 17-month highs and instilling investors with a sense of impending doomAccording to data from CoinGecko, Bitcoin is currently selling at $34,396, a 27% increase from its price on October 1.

Additionally, Matrixport noted in the research that Bitcoin's breakout above July's $31,500 level indicates that $45,000 is reachable by year's end, adding:

The $45,000 Bitcoin forecast was first made by Matrixport in their bullish 2023 analysis, which was released in January 2023"From now until year's end, there is a strong statistical likelihood that Bitcoin values will double. By Christmas 2023, this could push Bitcoin values above $45,000, the company predicted at the time.

However, some analysts aren't overly bullish about the price of bitcoin in 2023. The global research head and senior strategist of Standard Chartered forecast that Bitcoin would fall below $5,000 in 2023 in December 2022. The year-to-date low for Bitcoin was roughly $16,600.
