Singapore's foreign exchange reserves climbed from SGD 455.5 billion in August 2023 to SGD 460.5 billion in September 2023.
Due to the ongoing increase of gold and foreign exchange (SGD 450.1 billion vs. SGD 445 billion in August), this represented the highest sum since May 2022.
SDRs (SGD 8.40 billion vs. SGD 8.42 billion) and the IMF reserve position (SGD 2 billion vs. SGD 2.1 billion) also saw slight reductions during this time.
The reserves totaled SGD 410.5 billion in September 2022.
